New electric scooters in Sarreguemines

Thanks to BIRD, the town of Sarreguemines has a fleet of 150 electric scooters. They are safe, durable and among the most reliable on the market!

How does it work?

Download and install the BIRD application on your smartphone via the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store.
Create your personal account and add a payment method (credit card or PayPal account)
From the application, search for the nearest BIRD scooter
Scan the QR code (or enter the inscribed code) of the scooter, get on it and start moving, accelerate by pressing the button with your thumb and go!

End the journey

To finish your journey, you must park your vehicle in the spaces (P) indicated in the application, taking care not to obstruct pedestrian traffic.

ATTENTION !

The meter on your scooter will continue to run until you have parked. You will be charged for the entire period.

Informations

The first scooters will be deployed in the last two weeks of July, and all units should be installed by the end of August.

Parking is mandatory to preserve public space. You can see on the map where you can park your scooter. 50 parking areas are defined throughout the city.

It is allowed to drive an electric scooter up to a maximum speed of 25 km/h in the operational zone that has been defined by the city. Outside this zone, the scooter automatically slows down and eventually stops.

Driving on pavements is not allowed. Priority should be given to using the cycle paths.
