PIAF: the 2021 Christmas bauble from Meisenthal!

Piaf, la boule de noël 2021 du CIAV de Meisenthal

It's called PIAF, the 2021 Christmas bauble of the Meisenthal International Glass Art Centre. The designer Harmonie Begon, in poetic cooperation with the tits so dear to the Meisenthal valley, have given birth to the PIAF Christmas bauble.

A titmouse passes by…

The first rays of the sun emerge from behind the hills and the shadows gently straighten. The flowers of a young apple tree dance in the light breeze. Only silence dresses the dawning of this new spring… An angel passes.

Joined by some of her flight mates, she starts looking for her breakfast. The table is set and the little airline suddenly picks at the fruit tree.

Harmonie is on the lookout behind her window. She watches the ballet of the (fr)agile birds as they swoop down on the meal she has prepared for them. The birds wriggle and wriggle, pecking at the sunflower seeds with great enthusiasm and sculpting the benevolent preparation in suspension.

The PIAF Christmas bauble will be born from this poetic cooperation with the tits so dear to Meisenthal and will freeze forever in the glass, the memory of this frugal morning banquet.
